Which cleanser is right for me?
Choose by how your skin feels. The Facial Cleansing Foam suits all skin types, including dry and sensitive-feeling skin. The Bright & Fresh Cleansing Gel is for dull skin, uneven tone and visible pores. The Collagen Cleansing Balm suits dry skin, and skin that feels over-cleansed by foaming products. Will a cleanser leave my skin feeling tight?
No. The foam is made with organic Estonian birch sap as its first ingredient, ahead of water, plus amino acids and plant sugars. The gel adds organic rose water, and the balm's blend of eight oils and butters leaves skin soft and comfortable after rinsing.
Do I need a separate makeup remover?
No. Massage the Collagen Cleansing Balm onto dry skin and it turns into a silky oil that dissolves makeup and sunscreen. Add warm water, and it turns milky and rinses clean. The foam is also gentle enough for the eye area and safe with lash extensions.
Can I use the exfoliating gel every day?
Yes, morning and evening. It uses a gentle trio of nature-derived AHA, BHA and PHA acids, so keep it away from the eyes and wear daily sunscreen while you use it.
Can the balm double as a mask?
Yes. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin, leave it on for about 15 minutes, then wipe off the excess with a soft cloth.
Are JOIK cleansers organic and vegan?
Yes, all four are vegan, cruelty-free and made in Estonia on renewable energy. The Collagen Cleansing Balm is COSMOS ORGANIC certified by Ecocert Greenlife; the foam, the gel and the Men's Face Wash are COSMOS NATURAL certified by Ecocert Greenlife.
